On Saturday August 21st, Farthest Corners supporters and friends enjoyed an evening of bluegrass music, great food and fellowship on the back lawn of Greenwich Presbyterian Church in Nokesville, VA
Farthest Corners thanks Fitzmaurice for giving us an enjoyable evening of music. We also thank Greenwich Presbyterian Church for giving us a beautiful venue for an evening concert. And of course we thank you, our supporters, for coming out and showing your interest in this important mission.
We hope to see you at our next event. For more information on future Farthest Corners events follow our USA events page
About Fitzmaurice:
Embracing a crossover sound between progressive and alternative country formed in 2006 by twin sisters, Maria and Sarah Fitzmaurice, the band includes Aaron Malone, Brandon Snellings and Nokesville’s own Mike Simms. The group’s newly released CD features original music written by band members and is creating a lot of chatter in the music world. Bluegrass Legacy publication stated, “These young folks are the real deal.” Loaded with talent, they also have a lot of heart. Farthest Corners is fortunate to have them headlining this benefit. Grab your family and friends (and a chair) and head to Nokesville for an evening of “great bluegrass music for a worthy cause!”
