In 2006, Farthest Corners helped to build a home for children. Like all of our projects, this program was proposed and developed alongside a committee of church and community leaders. The program has grown to over 51 children.
Happy’s Home students are in safe place and attend a school in the local village. Most of these children have lost one or both of their parents by either the Burma Army or because of disease.
Happy’s Home is one of our most successful projects and we continue to work with the Happy’s Home Committee assisting them with support and development projects which are intended to make the home self-sustainable in the coming years.
